principle aims: - to gain the knowledge of emblematic places of European history for each country. - to show what Europe gives to each country and what each country should give to Europe: how the past can explain the present and guides us to the future. - to increase awareness of the multicultural and socio-economic dimensions of European societies. - to promote European citizenship and develop a feeling of belonging to the same European community. - to examine how each unique cultural identity interacts with the European identity. - to improve the ability to understand the connotation of the places of memory. - to develop skills in the use of technology and research works. - to motivate students to use different languages as a tool to communicate with the others. - to promote teacher education through cooperation and improvements in pedagogical approaches. Subjects to address: We will work on five main topics: - places of bright memory - places of dark memory - memory of the stones: famous buildings - Europe and the world - Places of memory, mirror of European heritage
